People at work and at play, magnificent vistas, beaches, landscapes, sunsets, markets, and much more, All that are what makes Easter Island the wonderful and mysterious "Land of the moai".
These images to the left are just a small sample of our archive. In addition to images of Rapa Nui life are images from inside the volcano Rano Raraku - known as "The Nursery" as it is here that all of the island's 800+ moai were carved. Also included are images of native artists carving wood statues, using the same tools as their ancestors.
